Unlike the Newfoundland 1¢ 1940 RE Date where all numerals are clearly doubled, the Newfoundland 10¢ 1940 Re-Engraved Date example (as defined in the Charlton Standard of Canadian Coins Guide) is slightly different and not very well photographed in the current guide.
